Do your products contain silicones?
No, our range is silicone-free. We use plant-based oils and butters for shine and slip instead. That said, not all silicones are bad: water-soluble silicones rinse out easily. It's the non-soluble ones that can build up and weigh curls down, especially if you mostly co-wash. If you use silicone products from other brands, a weekly wash with our Deep Detox Shampoo will clear that buildup.
Are your products colour safe?
You bet. All Wuli products are safe for use in colour-treated hair.
Does Wuli Hair Care use synthetic fragrances?
No. We only use natural fragrances made from essential oils in all of our products. We totally understand some people are sensitive to natural fragrances. If you have a question about any of the ones in our formulas, contact us; we’d be happy to chat.
Do you use sulphates?
We don't use harsh SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate). But not all sulphates are bad, and avoiding every cleanser can leave curls dull and weighed down by buildup that conditioner alone can't remove. That's why our Deep Detox Shampoo uses mild, curl-friendly cleansers to give you a proper reset without stripping, and our Moisturising Co-Wash keeps things hydrated in between.
